Prologis Park Tracy II – Crate & Barrel

The Crate & Barrel warehouse and shipping facilities on N. Chrisman Road were the first two developments to be constructed within Prologis Park Tracy II, a 160-acre industrial site in Tracy. Kier + Wright provided civil engineering and land surveying services for the entitlement of Prologis Park Tracy II and provided on-site and off-site design for the construction of the two Crate & Barrel facilities.

The larger of the two facilities is an 827,300-square-foot furniture warehouse and clearance center on 28 acres at 1705 N. Chrisman. At the time of its certification, it was the largest distribution center in the United States to achieve LEED Gold.

A smaller 398,400-square-foot fulfillment and distribution facility is located on 36 acres at 1605 N Chrisman.

Services provided to support the planning and construction of the two developments include condominium mapping, preparation of a lot line adjustment, topographic and utility survey, grading design, and design of on-site and off-site utility infrastructure.

Kier + Wright’s off-site improvements scope included plans to widen N. Chrisman Road and plans for a new court that extended Paradise Road westward, improving vehicular access to Crate & Barrel’s facilities.
