Hamilton Park is located in the City of Menlo Park near the corner of Chilco Street and Hamilton Avenue. Kier and Wright was the lead consultant chosen for the master planning of this seven acre development which included a city-owned public park and 47 single-family homes.  The project was a collaboration between the City Redevelopment Agency and Clarum Homes.

The project incorporated extensive “green” storm water treatment measures and was featured in Sunset Magazine as part of a green-building education effort. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the project’s groundbreaking.

Kier & Wright served as the planner, engineer, and surveyor for the processing and design of this project.  Kier and Wright was also responsible for the coordination of permit requirements between various public agencies, the removal of the project from the FEMA floodplain, and the design of a culvert bypass channel for the rerouting of flood waters around the project.
